Chief Technology Officer
With the computer legacy that my father left me, I was always working with electronics and small personal computers. Starting with a ZX spectrum and then progressing to the first IBM PC Junior running on MS-DOS, I always kept abreast with the latest technologies through Primary and High School. In standard 8 (1988) working part time for a computer reseller in JHB I soon learnt the skills to assemble and fault find computers. At the time the IBM XT (8088) was a top seller in the industry. After 3 years working for DKS Computers part time and during school holidays, I Matriculated from John Orr Technical High School (1990).
I had received a full bursary from the South African Navy to Study Electronic Engineering. After receiving my qualifications in electronic engineering I, a commissioned officer in the South African Navy worked in various departments of the Navy. From Simons Town and Durban’s Naval Dock Yards in the various weapons and electronic warfare workshops to finally filling a post on SAS Drakensberg as Assistant Weapons Electrical Officer. After a 7 Year Period in the employ of the South African Navy , I decided to resign my commission and continue my fathers Legacy by Re-opening Complete Computer Services ,Based in Cape Town (1997).
Administrative AssistantBorn in Newcastle my parents moved around the country a lot due to the nature of my father’s work. I spent the majority of my high school career in Johannesburg from where I matriculated. I enjoyed partaking in Modelling and Ballet as extra mural activities. I achieved a national diploma as an aesthetician in the beauty industry and moved down to Cape Town where I met my husband.
I had owned a successful beauty salon for several years until the birth of our daughter were I decided to dedicate my time to the raising of our child. I then decided that I would like to attain a diploma in financial bookkeeping, which I successfully completed, and I am now responsible for the day to day financial and administrative responsibilities of CCS.
Network AdministratorI am British born and moved to South Africa at a young age. I spent most of my school years in Gauteng and Grahamstown. I travelled the world extensively during my younger adult life and always found myself coming back to sunny South Africa. I have been involved and interested in Information Technology from a very young age. I have gained many years of experience in the Internet Service Provider Industry and have been a Network Administrator in many industry sectors. I have spent close on 10 years with a Large well known Internet Service Provider Company where I gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the provision of Internet services to Home and Industry.
I find that the computer industry peaks my interest due to the fast pace and every changing skill set that is required. Working for Complete Computer Services since 2011 has helped me grow as a person and improve in areas less knowledgeable to me.
IT Field TechnicianI have lived in Strand Cape Town, my whole life and can hardly think of any other place to live. Next to the sea I can spend my off time body boarding and playing soccer on the beach. I like the outdoors, but on the other hand I also like playing computer games as it is my way to switch off and it also brings out the competitive side of me.
After I completed my studies at CTI, I joined CCS in February 2009 and have gathered a lot of valuable experience over the years. I’ve always been interested in computers, the hardware and software side. I mostly like the challenges that Information Technology brings, the aspects and intricacies of trying to solve Problems at various levels. What also fascinates me is the immense speed at which this industry changes and grows from day to day.
Zukisani (Elvis) Ntetha
Workshop Technician/Stores ManagerI was born in Lady Frere at Bhozwana village near Queenstown in the Eastern Cape.
After finishing my matric, I moved to the Western Cape. Where in 2005 I met Juan Venter who introduced me to the wonderful world of Computers. I now love assembling computers and repairing them. My duties at CCS also include the management of stock and the day to day logistical tasks that are given to me.
I enjoy outdoor sports activities. I am a BIG Soccer Fan and love playing the sport during my leisure time. I also enjoy watching television, especially soccer matches and enjoy the special times with my loved ones. What interests me most about computers, is that you learn something new each and every day.
IT Field Technician
With some of my earliest memories being of opening DOS computer games for my older brothers when I was little more than a toddler it is little wonder that I found my career in the IT industry. From an early age I had always had a healthy curiosity for computers in all forms. I have been fortunate enough to have a father that shared and encouraged my interest and who primarily taught and helped me refine my skills in working with computers. By my teenage years I was fluent in maintaining most hardware and maintaining software followed soon after.
After school I studied in the biological sciences for a few years but I later realized that it was not what I was passionate about. I left university in order to pursue a career in IT and found myself beginning that path in the retail sector where I learned invaluable customer support skills. In May of 2017 I joined the team here at CCS. From early on it was apparent that both Juan and his team were overflowing with experience that I was eager to learn from and add to my own skill set. During my first year with the company I completed my CompTIA A+ Certification with distinction. Having had the opportunity to learn so much from my colleagues on a daily basis and be challenged in some of the problems we face together has been a rewarding and fulfilling experience that I continue to enjoy.
When I am not working with computers you will often find me behind them in my free time as well. Spending time with friends socially playing video games has always been a great outlet for me, although I find that there is nothing more enjoyable than unplugging from technology for a brief time and enjoying board games with friends and family.
